Volunteer
We appreciate all of those who offer their time to help with our animals. We have volunteers help with socializing our animals by walking, brushing, and spending time with them. We also use volunteers to help at fund raising events. Due to liability issues, you must be at least 18 years of age to be a volunteer. If you would like to be a volunteer to socialize our animals, all you need to do is come to the shelter during visiting hours (Tuesday-Saturday 11:00-4:30), sign in, grab a leash or a brush and off you go!
We require our volunteers to follow any instructions they may receive in regards to an animal. Failure to do so may result in your not being able to volunteer with our Shelter. The instructions are for the health and safety of our animals and you.
