I wanted to take a moment to thank you for allowing us to adopt Rita.  I was extremely touched by all of the good things everyone had to say about her.  I thought I would send you some pictures of her trip back and her interacting with my Mother-in-laws dogs.  I know we are going to give her a wonderful life and we will continue to keep you all up to date with Rita.  Again, thank you for the wonderful job that you do and we look forward to sending you many pictures of a very happy dog and her new family.

Izzy went geocaching (Which is Treasure hunting ) yesterday, she seemed to enjoy herself. Here are some pics!  My friend's daughter is very attached to Izzy (Momma Dog as you fondly called her) and they will be visiting you soon to add to their family : )

We adopted Harriet (we call her Ginger) on

August 19.  She is the most wonderful dog. We

wanted to share some pictures of her.  Our cats

were also adopted from the shelter back in April

2008.  Shadow (April) and Midnight (Star).  They

also are great pets and full of love.

This is Kisses now Molly. Top picture is when she was here the bottom is her now. She has grown up to be tall and proud.

My name is Ashley and I adopted "joy" one of the hound mix puppies who is now known as Brooklyn back in July. Everybody who meets her loves her and she always comes up to them with tons of energy. She is now 8 months old and I am happy to have adopted her. Myself and her daddy spoil her so much and she loves it. I saw one of the pictures from the volunteer section and I believe "Kisses" is Brooklyn's sister. As you can see in the pictures they have the same shape, posture, nose, ears, and everything!! It would be cool if you all put together a section on that page for siblings so we can see how the others are doing :) Just a suggestion. Well I hope everybody at the shelter is doing well and I plan on adopting a friend for Brooklyn in the future.
Hi Everyone! Just a note to let you know that I miss you all very much, however, I am living in the lap of luxury and wouldn't trade it for anything! My new owners have put in a wireless fence for me outside so I can run around and be as crazy as I want without getting into trouble. (Mom stays out there with me to be sure I don't get into trouble though) My new dad says I can cover 3 square mile in ten seconds when I run and I have even tested that theory out a few times for him! I always came back though!!! I am FAST!!! LOL!!! Anyway, I love being able to sleep on beds and couches every now and then (only when my dad is not around, mom spoils me!) and also love my giant cage. I am such a good dog for my new owners because I am happy to have such a loving home! I was even house broken within 4 days for them!!! I am a VERY smart dog! Mom says she thinks I am human cause I understand LOTS!!! They even decided that since I am so smart and eager to please that I could go to school to learn more... I love to play with toys, although I am not very interested in fetching things... I have also been a good girl around the cat but she tries to hide from me. Maybe one day she will realize that I am just a big puppy and all I want to do is play...I am enclosing a picture of me on my sister's bed. It's my favorite place to sleep and since she is away at college, I will keep it warm for her! Thanks for taking such good care of me while I was at the WCHS! Tell all my sisters and brothers I said Hi!!!! Stripes Franks
