I am a 6 year old, Male, Pit Bull Mix.
Cardoni is not at all the Mob boss his name sounds like he should be. This 6 years young fella has joined the HSWC crew and is fitting in well. He is 41 lbs of physically fit and well toned muscle. He is an easy walker and very versatile. If you order up some zoomies, he can deliver. He can just as easily have a nice low energy relaxed walk. He enjoys walking trails and checking out wildlife. He is very calm when deer leap across his path.
He seems much more excitable around cats. Possibly no experience with indoor cats before. So, for now we recommend he go into his new life cat-free.
Named by staff for the Mediterranean vegetable considered an Italian delicacy, Cardoni might prefer sharing a nice dish of pasta with his new parents. He is the best of both worlds, calm settled down guy but young enough to have some fun. He is ready to go on adventures with you.
It would seem he was cared for in his previous life. He looks a bit distraught sitting in his kennel. Probably wondering where his comfy sofa went that he has had for 6 years. But he is a resilient fella and loves everyone he meets. Another volunteer favorite, we hope to spread the word that our Cardoni is a dog you don’t want to miss out on.
