Coco Bean the Queen 💕👑
This sweet girl was sadly returned to us after being adopted 3 years ago because she was too high energy for her owners – but that’s just because she’s a dog that needs plenty of exercise! Coco Bean is as sweet as can be, but would definitely benefit from an active family. Someone that wants a running buddy, or just someone that likes to go on adventures would be absolutely perfect for her!
As you can see from the pictures, she has the cutest ears with one that sticks straight up! She also loves to shower you with hugs and kisses (because of this, she might be a little too bouncy for little kids) and she makes sure to get allll of the cuddles. Her special need is that she is a resource guarder, so although she gets along with other dogs, her new family would need to understand that feeding time is separate from others. This is something that can be worked through with training, consistency, and advocating for your dogs’ needs!
Coco Bean has been on many outings to different events and day trips with volunteers, and she’s had so much fun each time she gets out of her kennel. She absolutely loves car rides and walks well on a leash. She immediately jumped right up onto the couch in the studio where she made her radio appearance, so we know she’d love to curl up on the couch with you and watch a movie once she’s gotten all of her energy out.
She is extremely smart, so a dog savvy owner that would provide her with the training she deserves would be wonderful. Someone once commented on a post about her and said she’d be a perfect search and rescue dog – and we agree! Coco Bean would do great with a job or activity. She deserves a family that will stimulate her mind as much as her body, and spoil her like the queen that she is.
Come out this week and meet this adorable pup. She can’t wait to go on a walk with you and steal your heart (and maybe a treat or 2)!
