I am a 1.5 year old, Neutered Male, Siberian Husky Mix.
Hey y’all! My name is Duncan! Wow do I have a story to tell… I have been in and out of the shelter because I’ve been told I’m a lot to handle. The truth is, I came in as a stray so I was never given the proper love, training, and mental stimulation a young pup needs in order to be successful. I have lots of love to give and can’t wait to share this with my new family. Currently I am being fostered by a local trainer, Abby Morrells at Shore Dogs Training. I am doing great! Some of the things I am learning are how to be cool, calm, and collected and when the appropriate time to play is. I am being trained on an e-collar and use my prong collar on walks. I get to have lots of structured play time and that’s my favorite part. My potential adopter would be in contact with my foster mom Abby in order to understand what I’ve learned and keep up my training at home. I’ll need an owner that is firm with my commands and give me structure. Of course I love my play time and get rewarded with it. I am a big fan of running and swimming in the pool. I get along great with other dogs and will need supervised play like any dog. Please fill out an application and my foster mom will be in contact with you 🙂
