I am a 1 year old, Neutered Male, pit mix.
Hey there! I’m Harry! I’m kind of a big deal. You see, I’m in a foster home with a local trainer, and she has taught me so many wonderful things! If you’ve seen me out, I wouldn’t be surprised. I like to frequent Lowe’s, Rise Up, and Evo. You may have also seen me taking strolls through Pemberton with my foster mom. I’ve been training seriously for several weeks now, and I’m finally ready for my forever home.
I require a serious, active owner who is going to keep up with my training and keep me physically and mentally sharp. I’m not a couch potato kind of dog. To be honest, if you’re not willing to be my leader, it’s likely I’ll try and take advantage :). Here’s what I’ve learned so far – Sit, Come, Heel, Down, and Place. I ride wonderfully in the car, and I’m house trained. I’m also crate, e-collar, and prong collar trained (all of my equipment will come with me). I’d be a perfect adventure dog! I’m learning how to navigate this big, new world with a healthy, calm state of mind. You can attribute that to my foster mom’s holistic approach to training. It’s the real deal! I’ve never felt so alive!
My likes include coconut oil, carrots, and playing tug with my foster mom. I use my playtime as an outlet, and it’s real important that my new owners use playtime as a constructive learning experience for me. I get along great with other dogs. I want to be everyone’s pal! I don’t have much experience with cats, but I don’t mind the neighborhood cats. Foster Mom says I’m silly and that you’ll immediately fall in love with my tastefully wacky personality.
