MacKenzie is the sweetest little nugget – just look at that squishy face! She is such a cute little meatball, and super goofy, too! She took a while to warm up to staff members, but she’s come around amazingly and she’s now a total lovebug! We don’t know anything about MacKenzie’s backstory, but we do know she’s a silly girl who loves treats and loves butt scratches! She has the cutest little grunts and snorts, walks gently on a leash, and falls in love with everyone she meets! She is a total wiggle butt when she sees people who could possibly give her butt scractches and lovin’!
This sweet girl is also the perfect riding buddy – she jumped right up into the events van for an outing and sat in the passenger seat the whole time just excitedly staring out the window! MacKenzie is sometimes protective of her space with some resource guarding, and for that reason we do not recommend her to go to a home with small kids. If she goes to a home with another dog, her new owners would need to make sure she is fed separately and to be mindful of play time. This could also improve with training and once she feels more comfortable in a loving forever home. She did test heartworm positive, but all of her treatments will be covered by and taken care of the Humane Society. She currently weighs about 58 pounds, but if she had her way and got all of the pup cups and pupperonis in the world, she’d weigh a lot more Come on out to meet this precious pup and let her little snorts melt your heart! She is currently in a foster home to help us with our overcrowding, so if you’re interested then you can submit an app and her foster family can bring her in to meet you!
