Meet Miss Maisel ♥️
Whenever someone asks what breed Maisel is… we reply Heinz 57. She’s a mix of a sausage and a low rider and a good size for apartment living.
She is a sweet girl that wants nothing more than to be a lap dog and get loved on all day. She has a bit of a sassy side and can sometimes be stubborn- like any dog. Maisel is currently living in a crate since our kennels and every available space is full at the moment.
She originally came to our shelter when her owner passed away. She was re adopted and went on a diet which was much needed for her well being. You can see her before picture below (last photo). Maisel was returned because she was not fond of an unannounced visitor in the house. She would do best crated or in another room while new visitors first enter the household. She would thrive with a dog owner that will advocate for her so she can be successful. She quickly warms up and she loves Pupperoni.
Maisel loves going for leisurely walks. She’s a low key dog with a lower energy level. She’s about six years young. She’d fancy laying on a couch and binge watching tv. Her new adopter would have to maintain her diet and resist her sad puppy eyes she uses when she wants a treat.
