I am a 2.5 year old, Spayed Female, American Pit Bull Mix.
Hi I’m Mavey 🌼
The first thing people notice about me are my cropped ears, which make me look tough but that all changes when I give you one of my gentle hugs. I am one of the most social dogs at the shelter, I love everyone I meet and am a big fan of kids! Going outside for walks is my favorite, I do have a bit of a high prey drive-meaning I may chase birds, squirrels, or cats. I’m a people pleaser at heart and will do anything for a pat on the head or a belly rub. I have a medium energy level- a few walks a day then I’m ready to chill out on the couch and watch a movie. Beware- I am a lap dog, I will climb up on you to sit in your lap at any given moment and smother you with kisses!
*Mavey is a staff favorite! She would do best as an only dog but would thrive well in any home that will give her love and attention.
