I am a 5 year old, Spayed Female Shepherd Mix.

Adoption Story:

Hi, my name is Nyla. Wow, do I have a story to tell! I’ve been at the shelter since December, and you may ask why haven’t I found my forever home. I came to the shelter to no fault of my own. At first, I was timid and fearful of everyone and everything. I wasn’t exposed to much and needed time to come out of my shell. I warmed up to the kennel staff with a lot of time, patience, and cheese.
It is now March, and my personality has blossomed! I still need new people to take it slow with me because have ya met a GSD before?! Once I know you, I will be your ride or die. I have my favorites at the shelter and they spoil me. I love playing ball, soccer, and getting the zoomies. A fenced in yard would be a dream for me but I still need my daily walks. I’m a great car rider, just crack the window a little so I can feel the breeze on my face. My favorite meal is a cheeseburger and a 6 count nugget from McDonald’s, please no Burger King, I need to have it my way!

Special Needs-My forever family needs to be patient, and will need to come multiple times to visit/ spend time with me in order to build a relationship. I also need to continue my training in order to keep building my confidence. A person with GSD experience would be ideal. My favorites at the shelter will help you with the transition process from the shelter to my new home.
