Pistachio is a big, handsome boy, but don’t let his intimidating looks fool you. He’s a big softie! Pistachio can be a bit shy and reserved in new situations, and he’s still getting comfortable here at the shelter. We have a feeling he will come out of his shell much more when he gets comfy in his new home! Some training may also be beneficial to Pistachio gaining some confidence. Go slow with him, offer some yummy treats, and he’ll be your pal in no time!
Wait til Pistachio shows you his signature trick- dancing and standing up like a kangaroo! We think he may be part kangaroo because he loves to hop around on walks too. He’s a medium/higher energy level and would be a good hiking partner because he loves sniffing everything! He’s a people pleaser and will do well with an owner that will teach him how to be a dog and work on his confidence in new situations.
Pistachio currently weighs about 61 pounds.
