This sweet girl was found dumped outside of our shelter on a hot Sunday in September, without any water, after everyone left for the day. We obviously don’t know her backstory or why someone did that (or who originally TNRed her) but she was understandably terrified. Her fur was badly matted and she had the saddest scared eyes. Now, she’s still sitting here 4 months later slowly coming out of her shell, but still scared nonetheless. She’s about 6 years old and getting used to being handled, but she’s getting better and better every day! This girl loves to be pet and loved on, and she really enjoys a good brushing.
Princess Buttercup will thrive in a gentle home where she can take all the time she needs to adjust, and she may do best and gain more confidence if she goes to a home with other cats to keep her company. This sweet girl has clearly had a rough life, and is so deserving of a loving home! Please help her find her way there!
