I am a 8 year old, Neutered Male, Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
Ranger is a big love bug with a sad story. He has been bounced around from home to home through no fault of his own- 2 years ago, his owner surrendered him because they moved and couldn’t take him. He was adopted from us and then returned AGAIN this time because his new owner was also moving and “couldn’t” take him. He really deserves to find his true forever home to spend his golden years in!
Ranger is a sweet, low-key boy, and just wants love and attention! He has shown some slight signs of resource guarding, and he hasn’t done well with children in his past, so he cannot go to a home with young kids. Ranger weighs in at a whopping 110 pounds currently, and he could stand to shed some of that weight. He’ll do best in a home that’s dedicated to helping him get in shape, and one that will shower him with nothing but love!
This gentle giant loves car rides, walks wonderfully on a leash, and says he can’t wait to devour his next pup cup!
