Hi my name is Roxy and I am livin my best life in my foster home. I am currently residing with my foster mom, dad, 3 kids and 2 dogs. My foster mom tells me Im the smartest girl ever. Shes teaching me the place command right now which I am picking up super fast. Place means I lay down on something with four borders in a calm state of mind until I am released.
When Im not training, I enjoy belly rubs and long walks. I walk best on a prong collar and my foster mom can show you how to use one. I like car rides, but only if we go to Dunkin to get some whipped cream.
I get structured play time with my two foster siblings. I like to play a bit rough so my new fur sibling needs to be able to hang with my play style. I also enjoy my crate. I dont whine or make a peep when Im in there. Give me a Kong stuffed with peanut butter and Ill be one happy girl. My family will need to continue crate training me because its my safe place to relax and decompress.
I would do best in a home that will continue my training, I need an alpha owner. I listen well but sometimes like any dog, I can be a tad bit mischievous. I may not do well in a home with cats because I can be a bit of a cat chaser but Im working on it. While I like dogs, small dogs may not be a good fit for me since I like to play rough and tumble and dont want to hurt my future sibling.
