I am a 2 year old, Neutered Male, Pit Bull Mix.

Hey everyone!

I was dumped at the shelter and was found sitting by the mailbox observing everyone and everything. A nice volunteer drove by in her car, I hopped in and the rest is history! They named me Stewie and I think it fits me perfectly.

I had trouble warming up to people which is understandable. Someone I trusted dumped me to no fault of my own. Eventually I learned that people are good! They never gave up on me and I’m so thankful for them. I was definitely someone’s dog before, because I know sit and I’m fully house-trained. My favorite food is baked hot dogs and don’t forget the cheese! I’m a little scared of pig ear chews and one time my mommies gave me them and I barked at it.

Once I get to know you, you get to see my silly personality! My favorite time is when I get to go into the office. I love hugging everyone and showing off my tricks for some treats. I get the zoomies a lot and love the water! I could lounge in the pool for days. I am a bit quirky and need a family that is understanding and patient with me. Sometimes I get uncomfortable with people grabbing at me until I get to know you so please be patient. I was super lucky and I got to work one on one with a local trainer. She socialized me and taught me how to walk on leash. I love going for walks and being outside.

I may be standoffish at first but I promise you I’m a good boy! I just need to feel you out first. Once you know me, you’ll see my true goofy personality. I would love a home that would continue my training, teach me new tricks, and spoil me.  I am dog selective meaning I don’t get along with every single dog I meet. I currently have a girlfriend named Mazie and Pixie at the shelter and a bro-friend named Kosher I love to play with.

*I may feel uncomfortable with children since I have some trust issues.

Not good with cats
