I am a 6 year old, Female, Pitbull Mix.
Sweetie Pie is a special girl to all of us at the shelter. When she first arrived around Halloween, she was emaciated, covered in fleas, cuts, scrapes, bite wounds, and reeked of skin infections. For this reason, she had to be on a strict 120 day quarantine where only a select few staff members could handle or walk her. All this time, the poor girl hasn’t been able to go on regular dog walks like all the others here at the shelter. For 4 long months, she’s been sitting in her kennel patiently waiting for her day to find a home, and she’s finally ready to meet all the people and make all the friends. As per her name, she’s a sweetheart and a gentle girl. She’s looking for a family to give her all the love and attention she deserves that she didn’t seem to have before entering our shelter.
