Meet Asher 💙
Asher is a playful, bouncy boy with tons of love to give! He’s a Lab, Sharpei (maybe a little Weimaraner?) Good Boy mix. He is sweet as can be, but is sadly heartbroken and confused about why he’s back in our shelter.
Asher was adopted from us almost 2 years ago as an older puppy and has now found himself back with us as the product of a divorce. He really thought he was loved enough to be kept as part of the family, but he is ready for his third and final home where he will know the true meaning of forever.
He was reported to be a great dog, house trained, and very loving. He lived in a home with 2 young children and does great with kids. He is dog friendly (although meet and greets are required for all dogs), and he seems playfully curious with cats. If he’s going to go to a home with cats, he will need further training and dedication to help him understand how to coexist with them.
Asher would make an excellent hiking or jogging partner, or even just an adventure buddy. If you keep him on the go, he is one good boy! He would do best in a home where he can get tons of physical (as well as mental) exercise, because he loves to be a busy bee. Although once he’s gotten his energy out, he says he’d love to cuddle up with you on the couch and watch a movie!
This sweet boy is newly back to the shelter and very stressed to be in a kennel after being in a loving home for so long. Please consider coming to his rescue!
