Drax is such a sweet, goofy, lovable pup! He is also a lover – a lover of chewing things. He has a great personality but finds kennel life to be very boring and fills the void with some serious toy time. He is hoping for an adopter who can keep him entertained with creative new ways to enrich his need for play time. He is a real people pleaser and would much rather be out hiking then stuck in his kennel. Wouldn’t you too?
If you have an active lifestyle and you want a dog who likes to play and go on adventures, then Drax is the perfect dog for you. He’s the best ball player on the Eastern Shore and says he wants to try out for the big leagues, but he’d rather give up on that dream if he could find a forever home instead. Come meet this handsome fellow. He’d love for you to take him on a nice walk and then into our play yard to play ball! If you have a dog sibling for him, Drax hopes they’re high energy too to keep up with him (he says it’d be boring if they didn’t want to play as much as he did). He is currently around 47 pounds.
