I am a 8 month old, Male, DSH.
Gimlet is a shy little boy. He was super scared when he first came into the shelter and did not like to come out from hiding and would hiss to scare you away. Well i didn’t work with our well versed and committed staff. We just kept trying until he final said OK you can touch me. He is still pretty shy and tries to make himself small when you try to pet him, but we really think he will be totally out of his shell in no time. He is out on the adoption floor to get some more attention, but we still need to take it slow and build his trust that hands are for petting.
