Gracie is a sweet, affectionate girl who wants nothing more than to be given all the love and attention! We don’t know anything about her backstory, as she came in as a stray and was never reclaimed, but she’s such a good girl! She is super sweet and loving, and pretty easy to handle. Gracie will do wonderfully in an active home, and like any dog, some training will help her be on her very best behavior.
Gracie was adopted from us this past summer and recently returned because they said she wasn’t getting along with the other dog in the home anymore after 5 months. Since returning to the shelter, she seems to not be a fan of the other dogs (but it is very stressful to return after being in a home). We’re not entirely sure what happened to change Gracie’s views of other dogs, but she’d probably just do best as a solo pet. It’s just as well though, because she’ll give you as much love as 10 dogs would!
She loves everyone she meets, but you can tell that she is sad and confused to be back at the shelter. Gracie just wants to find her true forever home where she will get spoiled like the little princess that she is! This sweet girl weighs about 50 pounds, making her the perfect size for a cuddle buddy. Come out and take her for a walk and let her soulful eyes melt your heart!
