John Wayne needs a partner. He was given his name by one of our awesome volunteer dog walkers because he is one of his favorites. He would like to be the star in his own western set right in your home. So if you are looking for a rootin tootin good time this is your guy!
This poor dog was brought in by a good Samaritan after witnessing him devastatingly being thrown from a vehicle. But you would never know that’s what happened to him in his past, because John Wayne is ALWAYS smiling and just such a happy dog. He loves everyone he meets and is sure to put a smile on your face as well just by looking at how excited he is to be living life with people that finally love him. He currently weighs around 60 pounds, which he says is the perfect size to lay on your lap and get all of the cuddles. Although he is a bit strong and still learning how to walk well on his leash walks, he is treat motivated and says he’ll be a perfect gentleman in no time with consistency. Come on out and take him into the play yard and spend some time with him. He can’t wait to finally find his first loving home!
