Justin has been figuring out the ropes at the shelter. He’s still very stressed to be here and didn’t have the best life before coming to the shelter, so he’s understandably a little nervous. He takes a minute to warm up but once he does, he goes very well on his leash walks. He is not only gentle with his walks but also when he plays, and he doesn’t guard his toys. Once he knows you, he’ll love on you and show you just how sweet he is.
He is used to being around kids and other dogs but of course a little introduction is always needed for a stranger. However, we think Justin wasn’t treated the best by the children in his past, and would probably prefer a home with no children or older children. He would love a gentle household where he can just relax and know he’s finally able to be at peace and be loved like a true member of the family.
He is quickly becoming a volunteer favorite. They would love to introduce you to him. Although he will most likely need a few visits to get to know you and warm up to you, we promise his love will be so worth it once he does! He is currently around 45 pounds.
