Kenny Rogers is a very loving boy! He always has that tail a wagging when he meets new people at the shelter. He favors a front leg most likely from an old injury but he doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. Maybe no marathons for him though as much as he likes to run. He’s a total wiggle butt and is always happy even amongst the stress of the shelter.
We don’t think Kenny has had much guidance in his life before being found as a stray, so he could really benefit from some training to help him be a perfect gentleman (he says, “wait, but I just want to jump on everyone I meet to let them know I already love them so much!”). Kenny is so treat motivated that training should be really easy for him – he’s already come so far here at the shelter. He’s a little too interested in cats but is not reactive to dogs (he can certainly do a meet and greet to see if he could be a potential doggy sibling!). Come on by and meet him. He is currently around 55 pounds.
