I am a 3 year old, Spayed Female, Boxer Pit Mix.
Mary is one of our super sweet residents at HSWC. She has a sad tale to tell. Her owners hit a rough patch and had to surrender Mary and her buddy Simba. Mary is very nice to everyone, but you can tell she is looking for someone else. She often looks at you when she is out on walks and asks if you are her new person. She breaks our hearts. She is quiet, currently house trained and low energy. She likes to sniff everything while on walks, but she is also very interested in how you are doing and if she will be going home with you. Mary would benefit from some basic training to help build her confidence. She can be shy, unsure and timid and does not care for needles (but who does?). Building a strong bond with her new owner through leadership and basic obedience training is what will help Mary overcome her anxiety. Please consider adding this sweet girl to your home. She has a delicate way of easing herself into your heart. She weighs 49 pounds and needs a few more.
