Moonbeam has shown herself to be nice girl, who displays a pretty little shy smile when she’s happy. She doesn’t talk too much. You can tell how she feels though, by looking into her beaming eyes and watching for her little moonbeam smile! She rolls her belly up to you and love love loves belly rubs. That’s all she wants all day is to lie on her bed. She has never had a bed inside before. When she arrived she was very sick from having so many litters. She has been healing very well from her surgery and will receive heartworm treatment when she has an application for adoption. She is trying to get used to all the barking neighbor dogs all around her. Her companion, when she arrived, is deaf and doesn’t make much noise, so she has been going through quite an adjustment. She is starting to feel better and we can’t wait to see her personality open up more. She is a compact petite 40 pounds and is a volunteer favorite. She will be a treasure to the lucky family that is able to win her heart.
We are working slowly and steadily to get her up to going for walks. Right now she likes visitors to sit with her and tell her how beautiful she is.
