Meet our sweet Olive
This adorable girl is one of the best examples of a dog that doesn’t truly shine and show their full personality until they get out of their shelter environment. Olive is a spunky, energetic girl, and sometimes her energy seems like a lot when she comes outside for dog walkers. However, after walking around downtown and having a short time out, she immediately jumped into the events van and happily went into “chill mode” with a giant smile on her face. She even curled up and fell asleep afterwards!
Everyone was in disbelief that energetic Olive took a little snooze, but it just shows how important it is for dogs to get outside of the shelter to show their true personalities!
Sweet Olive loves everyone she meets and really needs to find her forever family that she can say “Olive You” to before bedtime belly rubs every night. She will benefit from some obedience training, as she seems not to have much prior guidance, but she is so treat motivated and smart that we know training will be a breeze! She will be a great fit for an active family, and a dog-savvy owner. Although she is listed as no cats, we do believe that she has the potential to be okay with cats after some training and structure is instilled in her routine. Olive weighs 54 lbs.
