I am a 7 month old, Neutered Male, Domestic Short Hair Mix.
Pine has spent several months with his brother, Oak, in a loving foster home. His foster mom was even nice enough to write up his bio! :
Pine came with his brother Oak, and was by far the shyest. Neither he or his brother like to be picked up, be he likes it the least. He likes to be the one to approach you, while you are calm, but will run away if you try to pick him up. Once you gain his trust, he will greet you at the door when you get home and put his paws on you to get pets and give lots of purrs. It took lots of patience to get this far, but he does love his back scratches and sometimes turns over on his belly!! He loves to chase string/feather toys and anything similar. He did not bond with my daughter, but she isn’t one to be calm. Neither he or his brother have had much exposure to young(under 12yo) children, but seem to like quiet grown ups best. He did live with 2 other cats, one loved on him, one stayed away or swatted when he came close. He has never lived with a dog.
Pine’s brother has been adopted and he’s now back from his foster home in our shelter, sad and confused about when it will be his turn. Please someone with a loving and patient heart give this boy the forever home he deserves!
