Pogo is a bouncy, playful, happy-go-lucky boy with such a big personality! Pogo came to us as a stray with a severely broken back leg, which resulted in our vet amputating the leg. Being a tripod doesn’t seem to slow him down one bit, though! He’s adjusted so well to his new situation, and he’s ready to find his forever family. Pogo can be a little big picky with his people sometimes, males especially, so we’ll need to make sure that absolutely EVERYONE in the household comes to meet Pogo and get’s his approval before any adoptions are official. But, if he likes you, then he LOVES you. He is a total lovebug, just particular about certain people – and full disclosure: he can bark as all small dogs do! He is dog selective (not a fan of larger dogs, but ok with smaller dogs), but a meet and greet would be required with any potential fur siblings.
Pogo is going to make one wonderful, loving companion! He would love a home where his people are home a lot, as he adores curling up in your lap and cuddling you. Pogo does need to be the only dog in the household, but has tested well with our barn cats. He currently weighs 12.5 lbs, the perfect weight to carry him around and spoil him like no other Come out to meet Pogo during our animal visitation hours and see how sweet and adorable he is for yourself!
