**Purdy is in a foster home, but can be easily brought into the shelter. Please give us a call to inquire about meeting her. We promise her love will be worth that small bit of extra effort! Dogs that are in foster homes have the advantage of already having some home training and having an easier transition to their forever home.**

If that sweet little grey face with the corn teef doesn’t instantly make you want to take this adorable pup home forever, the fact that she’s a little old lady needing a home should extra convince you!
Senior gal Purdy is just the sweetest. She just wants a comfy couch to curl up on with people who will love her even more for being an older dog, not dump her when she needs someone the most.
She’s our poor Boxer mix with boxer ears, and we can’t imagine how she must feel being abandoned at this stage in her life. We hope someone will come to her rescue soon! Her adoption fee is even waived for a fellow senior as part of our Senior to Senior program, so maybe she’s just what a senior in your life needs. She would prefer a home without any other dogs, as she doesn’t like to share a home with other pups, but she is great with cats.
Although she does have some separation anxiety, she will just whine for a short time when you leave her, and then eventually lay down. She’s so easy going! You can leave her out on her own, as she doesn’t destroy anything. She’s about 90% little old lady and 10% playful princess. Most of the time she’ll be passed out on her bed snoring like a freight train, but occasionally she’ll get zoomies and want to play with you or her toys.
Purdy is such a cute little lovebug and can’t wait for someone to give her a forever home soon!
