Howdy y’all, my name is Solo and I’ve been at the shelter since August 2021. I was found as a stray and was super skinny and acted a bit intense. After staying at the shelter, I learned how much I love just being a dog and calmed down a lot. I am a big people person! I love giving hugs and cuddling. Belly rubs are my thing and my shelter moms and dads say I’m very photogenic 📸 I have a medium energy level, I enjoy being outside and taking my daily walks.
The best part of my day is when my favorite volunteer Jonathan busts me out of the kennel and we go for a nice long walk, a dip in the baby pool, then he gives me lots of yummy snacks. I know sit, shake, down, and of course how to look handsome. I would definitely love to curl up on the couch with you to watch a movie, because after every walk, I pull the volunteers to my favorite chair to sit down for as long as possible and just people watch. I could sit in a chair and hang for hours – I even love finding chairs at events!
I am dog selective, people approved, and sorry, but cats are not my thing. Dogs rule and cats drool. If you’re looking for a handsome, sweet, intelligent boy look no further! Solo weighs 48 lbs.
