Wonderful Wigglebutt Wallace

Just look at that face – how can you not immediately love this sweet pup?! Wallace, a 2 year old good boy mix, recently went to be on the radio and was so excited to be out and about! He was such a good car rider and was so happy to be in the studio making new friends.

Wallace loves everyone he meets and will be sure to let you know! He’ll do just about anything for treats and already knows how to turn on the charm to sit for anything yummy you might have. He just needs a little training on how to gently take them – he’s just not used to being pampered like he is here with all the yummy goodies

This adorable boy weighs 51 pounds, making him the perfect size for cuddles on the couch! Wallace wants a family that will give him all the love and attention he deserves, and plenty of exercise so he can relax and curl up for belly rubs afterwards. He’s currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, but he’d much rather stay with you and come back in for those treatments when he has to. Come out and take Wallace on a walk this week – we just know you’ll fall in love!

Wallace recently went home on a foster, with the hopes of adopting, but unfortunately he wasn’t a fan of the cats in the house. His foster family only had great things to say about him though! They shared:

Wallace is the biggest love bug of a dog! I did not want to bring him back but sadly his prey drive isn’t ideal for a home with cats. He is very friendly with people and other dogs we met, though. He was adjusting well to life in a home, was fine sleeping in his crate, and other than a couple accidents from the first day nerves/excitement he was great about going potty outside! This brave boy even learned how to go up and down a big scary flight of stairs like a pro. He has the potential to be a delight on walks, with a little training he was making progress walking on a loose leash with me, with a consistent owner he’ll get there. He is happy to do anything as long as it’s with you, and once he realizes it’s time to relax he loves to chill out to the max! When I worked at my desk he would come lay by (or right on top of) my feet like a total sweetheart. It would be hard not to fall in love with him once you spend some time with him and look into those loving eyes. Wallace is all around a great buddy boy, whoever ends up adopting him is very lucky.

Not good with cats
