Paislee 59426

Date Available for Adoption: 03-12-2024

Date Adopted: 04-06-24

I am a 1 year old, Spayed Female, Pit Bull Mix.

Paislee wins the HSWC award for frequent flyer miles. Your home will be her fifth home in her short life. Through no fault of her own she has been returned again, just in time to celebrate her one-year birthday. Instead of celebrating with her family, she now sits in our kennels again. Here are the most recent comments from her last family: reason for return: medical complications, job change.
When they adopted her, they had every intention of keeping her and working with her until they got curve balls thrown at them, medical and job situations changed. It was just too much. They decided that was not fair to Paislee. They feel they can’t give her the training or attention she needs given their recent challenges. And she deserves owner’s that can give her that.
She is now 45 pounds, crate trained while both parents are at work. She gets along well with kids and her doggy sister. She is still very much a puppy and being crated all day she has a lot of energy to let off. She would thrive with an active family who will be committed to helping her become her best most beautiful self we know she can be. She is brimming with love to give.
Please help us find the right family for this loving girl. She has been on a wild roller coaster ride for her entire life. Paislee (Aka willow) was seized by Animal Control along with her mom and siblings for poor conditions. No one came for them. She was then adopted and passed around. She is a ball of fun and needs our help. She’s holding out for a hero that will finally give her the life she deserves. Can you be her hero?
Previous bio: reason for return: no time for her.
Willow was one of HSWC’s adorable puppies back in the spring. She is now known as Paislee and has been living in a home for a while. She has found herself back with us, not for any particular reason except for parent scheduling issues. She is a wonderful teenager, in age but developmentally she is still a puppy. She is very polite, house trained and ready to spring onto your sofa, or dog bed if you prefer. She still has puppy spirit and zest for life. She is a bit confused as to where she is, as you would expect. We hope the right family will come and scoop her up and give her a furever home filled with love and yummy treats. Potential adopters should approach this adorable girl as a puppy and begin basic obedience training with step one level commands: watch me/look, sit, and come recall are great places to start. She needs to know how to be a dog, what is expected of her and what she should be doing.
Let the fun begin.
Original bio:
I am an 8-week-old, 10 pound Female, Pit Bull Mix.
Willow is an adorable puppy ready to get into a home so she can learn all kinds of new things. Puppies are fun but they are also a lot of work. She will need training to learn a potty schedule and of course all the basics. She just can’t wait to get into those puppy training classes to make new friends and learn some life skills. 🐾
