Zeus (noun): The perfect sized pup overflowing with love.
What does Zeus absolutely love? People, treats, looking out the window, bones, and most of all, snuggles! At 8 years old, Zeus still has some spunk left in him and he’s happy to get that energy out through walks and chewing on his bone. He’s a mega chewer so plush toys will be gone quickly but nice sturdy bones are absolutely perfect. Once he settles down though, he will either be perched looking out the window or snuggled up in your lap. The good news is that at about 50lbs, he actually fits in your lap! He’s not too big, not too small. He is the perfect sized pup. We don’t know a lot about Zeus’ history other than that he was left behind when his previous owners moved away. That left him with a small amount of nervousness (understandably). He sometimes takes a little bit to warm up to people but as soon as he does, he offers his belly for rubs and gives you the best kisses. The best part is he will be so excited to see you when you get home! He loves to find a toy or a bone to greet you with. He does very well with other doggo friends!
Zeus has been working on his training while with his foster parents and would benefit with ongoing training in his forever home. He is incredibly smart and ongoing training will not only keep his mind busy, it will also help him shine and be the best dog he can be.
Zeus weighs 44 lbs. He is currently in a foster home to help us with our overcrowding, and they are going above and beyond and taking him to training to teach him to dog the best that he possibly can.
