His first week here at HSWC has been full of adventures. He has every volunteer drooling over him. Here are some comments from his #1 fan Volunteer Kristin:
“Creed is a handsome and gentle boy. He doesn’t appear to be aggressive towards other dogs because he trotted right past several and wasn’t distracted on the walk out of the kennels. He seems to be house-trained as he had only been out once before I walked him (later in the afternoon) and he did all of his business outside. He’s easy to walk and enjoys exploring. He is interested in other pups and wanted to stop and watch some play during their meet-and-greet. Creed seemed to wish that he could join in the reindeer games, which he displayed by pulling towards the play yards a little.
He knows the “sit” command and likely knows other commands. He is treat motivated and will gently put his paws on your chest to beg for more if he thinks you have any more in your pocket. While this is cute, I discouraged him from doing it by giving him the “off” command which he observed briefly and then tried again. Creed is so handsome that he received many compliments and cat-calls as we exited the shelter and also when we went back inside. He’s definitely a special boy!”
