I am a 1.5 year old, Spayed Female, Bulldog Mix.
Hello world, I’m Dottie! I was found as a stray, so not much is known about my background except that I used to be very fearful and scared. When I was brought in, the shelter overwhelmed me, and I sat in the back of my kennel so no one could get me. A great foster took me in with open arms and was up for the challenge. I was given a solid two-week shutdown-which is when I am given time, patience, structure, and consistency to help me acclimate to my new environment. I was taught how to be calm and bond with my foster brother. Since being in a home, I’ve learned so much and gained confidence! I have learned to love the crate which is my safe space to relax and chill out. I am house trained, food/toy motivated, and walk great on leash. My favorite thing besides people pleasing is playing with my foster brother, Asa.
I am a medium energy girl, and I would enjoy two walks a day. I am dog selective so a meet n greet would determine a possible fur sibling. I am looking for someone that will continue to build my confidence and continue my training in my new home. We can also have tons of fun! I love car rides, exploring the world, cuddling, and being sung to.
I would enjoy a home that will continue to teach me how to dog! And don’t worry my foster Dad will walk you through all my training and be there every step of the way! I’m still in my foster home, so if you want to meet me, submit your application first and we’ll arrange a time for you to meet me!
