I am a 3 year old, Neutered Male, DLH.
Large and in charge Imperial is looking for love! This sweet boy has a heart as big as his body and is an absolute lovebug. He can’t wait to find a human to share their lap and spoil him like the king that he is.
Imperial is FIV positive, but it’s really no big deal at all. It can give him a lowered immune system, but he should be just fine being an indoor only cat. He can still live a long and completely normal life. It’s only contagious to other cats through very deep bite wounds, so he can even be roommates with FIV- kitties if you’re comfortable with that!
Our office cat, Sir Lancelot, is old and FIV+ and he lives with other FIV- cats. He doesn’t have any health issues related to FIV despite trying his hardest to swipe food from sick cats, and he will probably somehow live to be 30 – if that’s not proof that it’s really no big deal!
