I am a 5 year old, Female, Pit Bull Mix.
Lydia is a country gal at ♥️ trying to adjust to life in the “Big city”.
Since coming to HSWC bed and breakfast she has met the nice staff and likes some of the volunteers she has met. She is not fond of all the barking dogs. She seems sensitive and used to being in a more open space. But she is trying to make the best of her surroundings. She is beautiful and sweet. Lydia is one of those dogs all the volunteers can’t wait to see each day. She seems to have good leash manners. She is not a big puller. She is very interested in getting her own place. Once outside she sits and watches other dogs go by ok, but may not want to live with them. Lydia is the perfect compact size. She weighs 40 pounds but could stand to gain some weight.

“She’s very sweet. Walks nicely. Once she knows her walker she becomes your best friend. She seems to have been poorly socialized as a pup so she’s appears reactive to other dogs but it’s more a fear reaction in my opinion. She needs to be one and only. She’s a love bug.”
Please come and and visit Lydia, take a nice walk and sit with her. She is looking to make hooman friends that will give her comfort in this confusing environment. 🐾🐾💜
