I am a 4.5 year old, Neutered Male, Beagle Sheltie Mix.
Sweet Oliver has thought he’s found his forever home twice now, but he’s sadly back to looking for a third time.
Although this is the first time he’s actually had to stay in the shelter, and needless to say – he’s terrified.
Oliver is 4.5 and a Beagle/Sheltie mix. He was originally bought from an Amish puppy mill and raised for the first 4 years of his life, before being surrendered for nipping at one of the kids (although it was an isolated incident, no small children for his new family.)
He was then adopted in August and now returned 6 months later because of unforeseen health issues with his owner. He was reported to be the biggest lover in his home and his mom was very sad to have to return him.
Oliver is housebroken, knows simple commands, and is gentle and easy-going. He doesn’t chew on things in the house, but gets a bit of anxiety when he is left alone. With slow introductions, Oliver should be ok with cats and dogs, although meet and greets for dogs are always required.
He is a perfect size for someone looking for a small to medium sized dog! He currently weighs around 50 pounds but really needs to loose a few (should be about 35-40).
Oliver would be a perfect choice for a senior, or anyone looking for a loving companion. Please consider healing his broken heart and giving him his third and last forever home!
