Date Adopted: 03-28-24

I am a 3 year old, Neutered Male, Labrador/Spaniel Mix.

Snoop Dog is here, let us be clear, he’s super smart and we’d like to start to tell you all the great things about this hot rod.
He is pre owned, one owner for 3 years. Turned in due to time limitations.
He is currently in a foster home. His hobbies include tennis (the racketless kind), yoga (his favorite pose is downward dog), tug-of-war and he is also a big fan of the keep away game. He enjoys long walks, and charcuterie platters.
He is super fun and would be great with an active family with kids 10 years or older, and possibly a 4-legged sibling. He has been kept separate from his foster dog sibling in the house, but they have been on walks together and outside in yard and they are sweet together. He can be protective and barks at anyone new in the house. He can also be a bit independent, so he will need direction and strong leadership from his person in knowing his place. He’s big on communication and has a great sense of humor. When he is hungry, he pats the dinner bowls with his paw “IT IS TIME TO FILL THE BOWL LADY!!”
He learns quickly and responds to correction.
He comes with pre installed skills including: “Sit”, “Down”, “Paw”, “Wait”, “Off” aka…no counter surfing!
Scheduled upgrades include: “drop it” and “flip that belly up” for chassis inspection and belly massages.
He has snuggle potential for leisure and movie watching (his foster Mom does not allow pets on the furniture, he is obedient and respectful of that rule).
Snoop came in weighing 35 pounds and still needs to put on some weight to be his best self.
We are not recommending Snoop be adopted by a family with young children as he can be sensitive and fussy with having his feet touched. And needs to be handled slowly during baths.
To take this fella for a test drive, please call the HSWC office and schedule a meeting with his foster. Meet and greets with new doggy friends will be scheduled once the adoption application is approved.

Quick facts:: Medium size, playful, kids 10+ , walks well, comes knowing commands, Ok with dogs on walks and during supervised yard time. Schedule a meeting with his foster Mom.

This boy has been through a lot in his short life and is ready to find a forever home that will give him all the love and chicken jerky treats that he deserves. Come and take this hot rod out for a spin. He may just be the model you are looking for.
