2015 bio: Ferry is a sweet little thing. She has a sad tale to tell; she was kept in filthy conditions and rarely fed. She is gaining weight nicely and nothing has stopped her from being a loving, active and playful girl. Ferry needs lots of exercise and love to help her become the great girl she is meant to be.

Cookie has Traveled down the road and back again. Here is one of our favorite girls from 2015 (then called Ferry).
Cookie has sadly been returned to us as her loving Mom has come upon hard times. This is the hardest part when families who love their dogs feel they need to do what is right for the dog so the dog can have a better life. It’s hard on everyone. Cookie has been received with open loving arms. Her long time friends she remembers so well are taking good care of her making her comfortable here at HSWC 3 kennels up from where she lived in 2015. She is in good shape weighing 54 pounds and is enjoying her walks. She has been well taken care of by her mom. We try to get her out 4 times a day for short walks, so she has friends around her. She loves her comfy blanket donated by friends.
Cookie is the sweetest soul you will meet. She is glad to see you, and cuddles up when you sit with her. She respects who she is walking with, she does not pull. She is much more friendly with dogs this time around. She wants to say hi to her neighbors. Walks by dogs and cats ok. She loves watching the other dogs in the play yards.
She is easy, beautiful and ready to love. She does miss her mom, we can tell. We hope to get her in another home very soon. She is house trained and very neat. Joining our cast of Golden Girls, Cookie portrays the lovable character of Rose. She will entertain you with stories from St. Olaf. Aka the ‘bury. And as her mother used to say: “The older you get, the better you get, unless you’re a banana.”
And this certainly is true with Cookie. She is an amazing friend.
