I am a 4 year old, Male, Pit Bull Mix.
Our friend Zeke is a most polite gentle dog. He walks by your side to carefully listen to your stories. He takes treats very gently, so as not to cause you any harm. He shows no reaction to cats or dogs because he respects all forms of life. He seems to have learned his manners well: no swearing, no shaming, no judgement from him.
He tries to always have a positive attitude, even though his owner surrendered him, he chooses not to be depressed about that. He is sad but doesn’t want to show it.
He is the kind of friend that is always there for you when you need someone to talk to. He’s never too busy to help with your problems. He is more than happy to stop playing with toys when you need a hug. He tries to be neat and clean in his room, so the staff does not have extra work to do. He patiently waits his turn at the door to go out to recess. No screaming, no jumping up and down, or throwing himself around in a panic from this sweet soul. Nope, what we have here is a genuine mild mannered handsome hero waiting, just waiting for you. He has not really shared his taste in music or food just yet but we guess he would like jazz and healthy food. He weighs 62 pounds and is very fit. He doesn’t want to be rude when the nice ladies bring him cheese and hotdogs so he says thank you and nibbles on them. If you are interested in a relaxing afternoon walk discussing climate change, if space exploration is still important and who serves the best burgers in town, please come and visit Zeke. You won’t be sorry.
